As I was looking for materials to project light onto, I decided to try glass. When I projected light through the glass of my coffee table, I noticed a “funnel” of light going across the glass. It was a bit like shining a beam of light onto thick smoke. Only then I realized the beautiful shapes being created on the wall. It reminded me of Robert Irwin’s light paintings of the 1960’s. I played around with it trying to add color and using the reflection of the glass.
