With his HeatSeat Pads, Jurgen Mayer H. is taking the omnipresence of surveillance into a new dimension. The work relies on and responds to the behaviour of the museum visitors. The pads are pink seating cushions, shaped like mouse pads and thus remind the viewer of computers that are very present everyday life today. The pads react to the heat of the body leaving a trace behind anyone who sits on them.
